Magic in the fey-touched Moonshae Isles isn’t confined to ancient ruins or legendary artifacts—rather, it shapes everyday life, from the depths of swamp villages and druidic groves to drowned cities and pirate strongholds.

This makes the region especially well-suited for battlemaps that do more than mark distances or combat rounds. The following maps bring the Moonshaes’ wonder and danger to the table at once, inviting players to explore the exciting story taking shape before them.
1. Fens of the Fallen — Bullywug Swamp

The Fens of the Fallen are a tangled stretch of coastal wetland, long claimed by bullywugs… so what better to represent it than this Bullywug Swamp map? A floating village rises above shimmering, murky water, with crooked wooden bridges linking clusters of huts and tents.
This map is perfect for encounters tied to the ongoing threat of bullywug incursions in the Fens—from tense negotiations with hostile leaders to ambushes erupting from both land and water. The narrow walkways and open water make positioning vital, while the dense sprawl of structures can turn even the smallest confrontation into unpredictable chaos.
2. Wreck of the Silverhand — Haunted Ghost Ship Exterior (No Ghosts Day)

This Haunted Ghost Ship Exterior map works beautifully for the first sight of the Wreck of the Silverhand, a ruined vessel resting in the shallows off Gwynneth’s coast. The galleon’s splintered hull rests on the seafloor, while shattered decks and leaning masts claw up toward the water’s surface.
Use this map to stage the party’s approach and let the tension simmer as they debate how to board the wreck—or begin to notice signs that the ship is not as abandoned as it first appears.

This map also comes with several beautifully illustrated scenes of the ruined galleon.
3. Tomb of Owaren — Dragon’s Memorial

The idyllic stone altar and ceremonial space of this Dragon’s Memorial map make it a natural fit for the Tomb of Owaren—a pristine site set high in the mountains, surrounded by lush greenery and protected from the corruption spreading across Snowdown. Weathered stone and sunlight from the open sky give the space a solemn but idyllic atmosphere.
Use this map to reward your players for their pilgrimage to the ceremonial site. It can also serve as a place where druids make offerings to the Earthmother, though perhaps threatened by desecration, sabotage, or creatures drawn to the offerings.
4. Sarifal (Winterglen Forest) — Overgrown Magic Forest (Fae Pond - Day)

The fae-touched Winterglen Forest is beautiful, enchanted, and deceptively dangerous—and the fae pond variant of this Overgrown Magic Forest map captures that perfectly. Dense foliage presses in around a luminous pool, painting the picture of a forest that is both ancient and watchful.
Use this map as a stage for social encounters with the fey’s iconic ritual challenges, tests, and bargains. And if things take a turn for the worse, the magical terrain is great for turning even a small skirmish into something disorienting and memorable.

This map also includes several illustrated scenes of the ethereal pond nestled within the enchanted forest.
5. Gwynneth — Mellow Marshland Mill (Fey Realm)

Described as the most magic of the isles, Gwynneth is a land where magic seeps into daily life, and few maps reflect that better than this whimsical Mellow Marshland Mill map. Violet water flows around mounds of pink grass, where a windmill sits comfortably.
This map is perfect for showing players that magic on Gwynneth isn’t rare or remote—it’s woven into every inch of everyday life. Use this location as a welcoming quest hub, a home base, or a place where knowledgeable locals can offer guidance as the party moves outward from the spiritual heart of the isles.

This map features an illustrated scene of the whimsical windmill standing amid the vivid marsh grasses.
6. Myrloch Vale — Nymph Fountain (Before Time)

The ancient variant of this Nymph Fountain depicts an ethereal shrine nestled beside a gorgeous forest lake, making it an excellent stand-in for various sacred locations within Myrloch Vale. Smooth stone paths, still water, and the open natural layout immediately communicate a place of calm, age, and deep spiritual significance.
This map works well for moments of diplomacy with the fey or druids—where the party must learn to work with the land rather than take action by force. If violence somehow breaks out, it should feel like a grave mistake, one with lasting consequences.
7. Grampalt Highlands — Oasis Expedition (Mountain Pass)

The mountain pass variant of this Oasis Expedition map is an excellent fit for the Grampalt Highlands on Oman’s Isle, where a sprawling camp sits at a narrow mountain crossing. Steep crags hem in a winding road, while a clear lake nearby offers a welcome splash of color in the otherwise exposed landscape.
Whether your party is traveling with this camp or stumbles upon it, a large shared camp can create natural friction for social tension. The map can also work equally well for ambushes along the road, uneasy negotiations, or attacks that make use of the rocky chokepoints.

This map also includes an illustrated scene of rocky steps descending into the beautiful oasis, with ancient pillars and distant ruins beyond.
8. Iron Bay — Pirate Lord’s Lair + Pirate Lord’s Lair Interior

Two images. The first is a top-down view of a pirate stronghold in the middle of the ocean, built from massive marine animal skulls and wrecked ships. The second is the top-down view of a circular pirate hall interior with a large, plushly-decorated meeting space surrounded by passageways.
This coastal Pirate Lord’s Lair and its interior variants pair perfectly with Iron Bay, a stronghold carved out by a powerful pirate lord along the shores of Oman’s Isle. The map depicts a sprawling complex of massive bones and wrecked ships, crowned by fluttering pirate flags.
Where the exterior of this map exudes dominance and intimidation, the interior draws players deeper into the heart of the operation—where the central meeting hall is an ideal place to introduce major players such as rival captains and other key figures of the Isles.

This map also comes with an illustrated scene of the pirate stronghold rising from the sea.
9. Farview (Moray) — Warforged Titan Scrapyard

This Warforged Titan Scrapyard map is an unnerving match for Farview, where the Rusting has turned the settlement into a machine of endless extraction. Vast piles of metal remnants and broken constructs for a space that feels as mournful as it is industrial.
Use this map for investigations or sabotage missions that force players to reckon with what Farview has become. The scale of the debris can lend to interesting combat and exploration encounters, reinforcing the tragedy of a place consumed by its purpose.

This map also includes an illustrated scene of the towering scrapyard, with twisted metal and broken constructs rising over the river.
10. Karador — Chrono Chaos Ruins (Underwater)

Karador was once a great fey city, now lost beneath the waters of Myrloch, and this underwater variant of the Chrono Chaos Ruins map captures that tragedy beautifully. Broken towers lean into the depths, debris drifts through the cold water, and the weight of the fallen kingdom hangs over every space.
This map is fantastic for high-stakes exploration, filled with encounters involving predators drawn to the ruins or creatures warped by centuries beneath the lake. The limited visibility and three-dimensional movement of underwater exploration make every decision more dangerous, while also rewarding careful planning and unconventional solutions.

This map also comes with an illustrated scene of the drowned city ruins beneath deep blue water.
